Thing 1

well my dear ones,

As I've mentioned before,

everything that comes into the sanctuary

gets food and care.

I built a little cover

for the top of the wood pile

so the cats that feed up there

can do so even in the rain.

When I went out to take in the food tonight

I found some extra critters besides cats

hanging out up there.

Thing 2 was hanging back too far for a pic,

but Thing 1 was pretty bold,

and not yet ready to give up on eating;

hence I was able to get these pics:

A cute little spud for sure,

just one of God's creatures

looking for sustenance,

looking for a place to belong...
